I sought consultation for my wife's shoulder and neck pain, incurring a significant expense for a 15-day treatment. Subsequently, I discovered that the similar treatment protocol was applied to different medical issues. Additionally, the Vaidya recommended a strict dietary plan but did not conduct any basic tests to evaluate the patient’s condition. Ultimately, there was no noticeable improvement following the completion of the prescribed treatment. When we inquired about this lack of progress, we were repeatedly informed that improvement would take 15 days to one month. Continued the prescribed medicines 45 days post-treatment.
When pain intensified further, we consulted an orthopedic specialist who ordered blood tests revealing severe deficiencies in Calcium, Vitamin B12, and Vitamin D. The results also indicated critically low hemoglobin levels; consequently, the doctor advised hospitalization for iron infusion, vitamin supplementation, along with a proper diet and rest. It ultimately took three months for her recovery. There is a strong likelihood that the inappropriate treatment and dietary restrictions contributed to her deteriorating condition and other health parameters.
