I recently underwent surgery for internal and external thrombosed hemorrhoids, also known as piles. I had been dealing with this problem for almost 8 to 12 months. Since it was my first operation in life, I was very nervous, but Dr. P. S. Desai and his entire team made the whole experience smooth and comforting.

The doctor was extremely supportive from the very first consultation. He explained the entire process clearly and helped me feel confident before the surgery. During the procedure, the treatment was truly painless. It did not hurt more than a small ant bite, which was a huge relief for me.

Another thing that impressed me was that the doctor identified an internal hemorrhoid that I was not even aware of. He removed it during the surgery, which means it will not cause any problem for me in the future. This gave me a lot of peace of mind.

The entire operation was completed within 1 to 2 hours including all formalities, and I was discharged the same day. My recovery was smoother than I expected. I was able to get back to work within 3 to 4 days. Recovery time may vary based on the condition. In my case, the hemorrhoid was larger, yet the healing was still manageable. The staff also supported me very well with dressings and provided great moral support throughout the recovery period.
