I had a very good experience at the Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Bharatpur, Bhubaneswar. The institute is well-maintained, clean, and organized. The doctors and staff are knowledgeable, courteous, and always ready to help patients with proper guidance.
The treatment approach is based on authentic Ayurvedic principles, and the consultation process is detailed and patient-friendly. The facilities are good, and the overall environment is calm and professional. It is encouraging to see a government Ayurvedic research institute providing quality healthcare services while promoting research and traditional medicine.
I would highly recommend this institute to anyone looking for reliable Ayurvedic treatment and expert consultation in Bhubaneswar.
The institute operates under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of AYUSH, and provides Ayurvedic healthcare, research, and diagnostic services from its Bharatpur campus in Bhubaneswa

After registration we will get a slip.,next you will out from registration room and go to security who will stand out side the registration room. You will ask for a token to meet the doctor. Room19,21&22 is OPD to meet the doctor. As per your 2nd token number you will meet the doctor. Here also Panchakarma treatment is given. You can also register for IPD. The charges ₹100/- for general bed, ₹40/- for senior citizen, ₹0/- for ration card holder. Cabin also start from ₹500/-. Which includes foods & medicine.
We wait for one hour to consult the doctor ...there is no doctor present in the room and we have to wait for the doctor to come and see the patient ...this is such a bad behaviour towards the people ...we even had 2 senior citizen with us who cant even stand for a while .
On every Government Holiday, hospital is closed as per the gate keepers. The hospital should have a helpline number/ query number to make query whether the hospital is open or closed. People across the state returns without consultation due to lack of clarity.
The system is setting down. Many construction work are under process. Still the facilities are good & staff are cooperative.
When visiting the hospital you have to collect OPD token at the Entry point. Each patient has to take one token. Then to go to registration counter & wait for your turn. Old patients have to take the old registration papers. Doctors will be allotted at registration counter. Medicines are free. They may advise for some medicine from outside.
