It’s been only 1 week since my baby is born in Apollo Bannerghatta we chose as we expected the best for my new born as every parent would want and Dr Prashant S Urs was the Paediatrician. From the birth till discharge he only visited once to check the baby and that too while I was not present only the mother and baby was in the ward. After discharge it was recommended for a follow up with him in 3 days . But my baby was abit yellowish so we decided to visit him early and took a prior appointment which Apollo Management updated that he was not available for 2 days.So we had to wait and visit him on the 3rd day as it was originally recommended.As we took an appointment on 22nd April at 11-30 am we waiting till 12-30 pm and still no show from the so called “best” Pardiatrician Dr Prashant and upon asking the stuff they updated he will be 45 min late . As we didn’t trust on him to return soon we had to go to a Junior doctor . Even paying his Dr Prashant’s full fee we couldn’t even meet him .Later our baby had to be admitted for 24 hrs and in this time also not even once we got to meet and take advise from the “Best” Paediatrician Dr Prashant .
I will never going to trust this Dr. for my child as we felt his negligence .

He is a blessed physician and he has good intuition about baby's who is sick. He is always treating the baby's the right way and he has good knowledge and skill in neonatology.

Charged an unnecessary neonatal resuscitation worth 7K when the baby was fine and cried immediately after the birth.
He asked to do some useless tests worth 11K before the discharge.
Asked to get hospitalized for phototherapy when Bilirubin was 12.5 while our regular paediatrician told to go in sunlight for 15 minutes in morning and evening. It came normal in 2days.
Asked to do the OAE / hearing test but their machine was not working. Took them 30min for a 5min test.
The thing is you want to make a few thousand bucks from a parent's fear. That's disgusting behavior.
Our paediatrician told Mr Prashanth is famous for keeping babies in hospital.
The thing is that maternity is covered in the insurance but neonatal care has to be paid that's why these hospitals try to keep the baby in neonatal care for long time and these doctors facilitate the same. Who are they life savers or vultures?

Wrost doctor I had ever consulted.. We went to vaccinate in Apollo hospital for my kid today as Dr Radha Krishna was absent we decided to see dr Prashanth urs.. that doctor is not properly checked the vaccination chart and when we told him to give vaccine he deleberatly injected a 3.5 months baby like we used to see injecting to animal !!! Not courteous at all... While giving polio drops he poured on his lips not on his mouth!!
Please be courteous and listen the patient's concerns and give proper consultation and treat them in courteous manner please. I am not able to see the child's leg as it swelling like anything today..

Finally . Why we have to consult the private hospital and pour money if they not treated properly?
