My full body massage (including my scalp!) was carried out using a special oil, which was then gently removed with a warm damp cloth as I stood. Following that, as I turned according to instructions, I was treated to an invigorating session with a steam gun.
Finally, lying prone on the massage table in the dressing gown provided, I enjoyed the wonderful pouring oil treatment.
Apart from the pleasure it gave me, it resulted in a serenity of mind that was quite unexpected.
I could not have had a better introduction to the Ayurvedic massage system.
The atmosphere throughout was a beautiful blend of friendliness, informality and competence. My thanks to Dr.Ginni Jakhanwal and her staff.
