I visited this newly opened clinic near my area for a throat infection. The facility looks clean and well maintained, and it is conveniently located.

However, my experience with the treatment was not satisfactory. I was initially prescribed 5 days of medication for throat infection, but there was no improvement at all. On review, the medicines were changed and I took them for another 4 days — still no relief.

Finally, I consulted a doctor at Medicover Hospitals Whitefield , carrying the previous prescriptions. The doctor there prescribed medicines for just 3 days, and I noticed relief from the very first dose.

In my opinion, while accessibility and infrastructure are important, medical expertise matters much more. I would advise others to prioritize experienced doctors over convenience or “multi-speciality clinic” branding, especially to avoid unnecessary antibiotics without results.
