Ananta Shri Ayurvedic Panchakarma & Yoga Center – Wellness & Detox Clinic in Janakpuri, Delhi

I availed services at Anantashri Ayurvedic Centre for a therapy session priced at ₹1600 (post discount). What was expected to be a professional Ayurvedic therapeutic experience turned out to be grossly substandard and concerning.

At the outset, the representation that there are “no appointment slots” appears misleading, as the centre was entirely vacant at the time of my visit, with no clients before or after my session.

The therapy itself was conducted in a manner that reflects lack of basic training and professional competence:
• The therapist (Sunita- as I remember) had untrimmed nails, resulting in repeated scratching during the session. Basic hygiene wasn’t maintained by her.
• There was no structured technique, rhythm, or symmetry in the therapy process.
• Instructions provided were disregarded, and there appeared to be no understanding of pressure application or therapeutic methodology.
• The session felt like untrained oil application rather than any recognised Ayurvedic therapy. The oil was being thrown on body with random application.

Further, there were serious lapses in hygiene, privacy, and protocol:
• Basic privacy measures (such as properly securing the door) were ignored despite the vulnerable nature of the service.
• The intake form collected at the beginning was not even reviewed, as the same basic questions were asked again post-session.
• The steam session was poorly handled, with more concern shown towards maintenance inconvenience than client care.

The response from the reception on raising these concerns was indifferent and dismissive — suggesting to “try another therapist next time called Nidhi ,” indicating a complete lack of accountability.

Given that this is positioned as an Ayurvedic centre, one is compelled to question the standard of care being extended to other clients, particularly those who may be seeking genuine therapeutic or medical relief.

Being located in close proximity to my residence, I will also be sharing this experience within local RWA groups to ensure awareness.

This establishment falls significantly short of even basic professional and therapeutic standards. Discretion is strongly advised.
